What Is The TMJ-Jaw Release Program?

      • Are you sick of waking up with a tense jaw, face or headaches?
      • Are you tired of being distracted because of constant pain all day long?
      • Do you wish that you could be pain-free?

It’s never fun waking up feeling like your entire face is sore from clenching or grinding your teeth all night. You feel tender around your jaw and face when you talk, or eat. You’re not able to enjoy life to the fullest because there is always an underlying tension; an awareness that your body is not able to relax completely.

Think about how long you’ve felt this way…. Has it been months? Perhaps even years or decades? This pain that you’ve been putting up with, all day, every day…

You’ve been to the dentist, you have a splint, you’ve even considered botox. All of these treatments are costing you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars… but none of them have helped the pain to go away on a long term basis.

For many people who suffer from TMJ (temporomandibular joint) issues or TMJ dysfunction, there is often an underlying cause or stress that corresponds to the pain.

In many cases, unless if there was an acute injury – eg. being hit in the face, TMJ disorders can stem and be aggravated by mental or emotional stress.

Too often, we don’t even notice when it first starts…. It might be something that you become aware of over time. By then, it’s just something that you feel is ‘normal’ and ‘just how your body is’. But this isn’t true.

There was once a time when you didn’t have this issue and that your face did not feel achey all day and night.

In my experience as a holistic health therapist over the past 12 years, I’ve seen a lot of clients come in with jaw pain and jaw tightness. It can also translate to headaches, ear pain or ringing, tension in the neck and shoulders and even a ‘locked jaw’ where they had trouble opening it completely.

I know that it can affect your mood, what you choose to eat and even if/when you feel like socialising. TMJ pain is something that can really impact all parts of your life.

Having worked with many people suffering from TMJ pain, there are three common reasons why this often occurs –

  1. There is a physical mis-alignment in the jaw joint
  2. The person is or has been experiencing unresolved mental or emotional issues that contribute to the stress and pain
  3. The person has not been able to address these issues, which is why the pain will flare with stress.

And so this is why I’ve developed the F.A.S.T. Method for TMJ-Jaw Release

In my TMJ-Jaw Release Program, I take you through the four simple steps to help you to feel better, be happier, be more present and more importantly, pain-free.

The F.A.S.T. Method for TMJ-Jaw Release works because we

  • FIND – the underlying reason why this pain is occuring
  • ALLOW – the body to heal itself by processing the mental or emotional stress related to the pain
  • STABILISE – your internal and external environments
  • TRACK – your pain as well as your Five Fundamentals of Health.

The 4 Steps of The F.A.S.T Method of Jaw Release

Once we are able to find out how and why your body has created the pain (and the underlying issues that create the pain), we are then able to ascertain the best and quickest way your body can process and release the stress.

By also identifying and managing your specific internal and external triggers and responses, we can start then bring more balance into your life.

Over the course of the program you will also receive a Well-Being Journal where you can track your progress and also the 5 Fundamentals of Health as they relate your life.

Feedback For the TMJ-Jaw Release Program:

“The F.A.S.T. Method for TMJ-Jaw Release is an extremely effective in treating problems with the jaw and I wish I had done it sooner.

I had a locked jaw for 2 months prior to seeking kinesiology and had been seeing a specialist during that period who ended up recommending surgery. I was in a lot of pain, had limited movement in my jaw and was unable to eat as normal. I also had unmanaged stress and anxiety contributing to the problem.

I saw huge improvements in my jaw after the first session and it continued to improve over the 3 sessions. By the end, I was experiencing no pain and full range of movement in my jaw.

I liked the holistic approach taken which not only aimed to reduce pain and increase the range of movement in the jaw, but also work on what is causing the problem, such as clenching the teeth, to avoid it happening again in the future.

I would highly recommend kinesiology and the F.A.S.T. Method to anyone who is looking to reduce problems with the jaw, as well as anyone who needs assistance with managing emotions and balancing energies.”

"I began to attend Sydney Remedial Massage a few months ago because I was suffering from pain in my jaw, neck and shoulders as well as headaches associated with grinding my teeth in my sleep.

My dentist had prescribed a splint to wear at night to protect my teeth but this did not address the pain and I was resorting to over-the-counter painkillers to give me relief.

As a result of seeing Melanie, my jaw began to relax more and more.

I began sleeping better and the headaches have become infrequent.

The improvement I feel has been enormous. I now continue to attend every few weeks for a massage to maintain the more relaxed posture and jaw I have gained.

I would recommended the treatment to anyone who suffers pain associated with grinding their teeth."
